The beginner classes taught at the Christchurch Bridge Club are based on the same lessons displayed online. The student can revise the lesson of the week and practise with a variety of other hands. There are tutorials that advise you on how to bid and play hands as declarer and defender. | Replay Club Hands | At present the latest Junior and Intermediate Grade hand records from Club play are available for replaying. Once you have joined up (7-day free trial) and logged on, you can find these by selecting "Club Hands" in the main menu box. You can bid and play the hands against the computer. | |
| Ladders and competitions | Once you have joined up (7-day free trial) you can compete in a ladder competition by clicking on "Competition Hands" and selecting either Ladder Competition or Weekly Competition. You are playing against the computer and your results are compared against all others that participate. | |
| Live Play | Once you have joined up (7-day free trial), you can set up a table and join friends who are also members of the online club and have a friendly game with these friends. Alternatively you can play with any other member of the online club who may join your table. You can "chat" to the other players at the table also. This is a great medium for trying out new conventions or system changes you and your regular partner may have introduced. | |
